Red. All he saw was Red.
Pain. All he felt was Pain.
Screams. All he heard was Screams.
He was only 7 but he felt rage beyond his years. They came in the night… And murdered his family. Sitting there in the moonlight his Gi stained with blood and his hands Grasping his father’s sword. Standing up he swore on the soul of his father, He would avenge his family.
For 9 years here traveled Japan looking for someone to train him, he found none. That is until he found a clan of Samurai. Burning Dawn they called themselves. He was accepted into to the clan by the Shogun’s brother Sosuke. It wasn’t until he fought here that he realized that even though he had beat others that he could not beat these Samurai. “Weak” he muttered to himself one night. Then he made a friend. Kenji was his name.
He plotted with Kenji “We will become great Samurai if we kill Ichisaka”. So they packed up their things and set off in search of the enemy of the Burning Dawn Samurai.
And so It came to pass that young Bakaken and his friend Kenji set out that night. His trail was not hard to follow as he had just passed by not long ago. They followed him to a neighboring town where they found him in a Cave that belonged to another clan. A sign hung on the door “No Laming Here” it said in large black letters. Entering the cave they donned Cloaks and Robes to hide there Identity.
“Ichisaka!” Yelled Bakaken. “We have come to take your head , Ogre!” With that they entered a large room where a man was sleeping. It was not Ichisaka but a leader of the clan. Darting down a corridor they came into a cavern full of cliffs. It appeared to be ruins of something. “Who are you?” ask Ichisaka. “No one of consequence” replied the young Samurai. With that he gripped his father’s sword and rushed Ichisaka. Ichisaka Countered with a move Baka had never seen before. “Ni” the man called it. It struck Baka in the leg as he evaded. Suddenly Ichisaka fell to his knees. Standing behind him was Kenji his sword stained with blood. “You killed him!” Yelled Baka. “No I just pierced his shoulder” the warrior replied. Suddenly Ichisaka began to glow blue. “I don’t die that easily your wannabe Samurai” He stood up completely refreshed without a sign of injury, aside from a hole in his Kimono were the sword contacted.
Suddenly Lightning leapt from his finger tips striking Kenji in the chest. Ichi leaped high into the air and came down behind Baka. Baka felt as though an ox was pushing him forward and he slipped off the cliff. Ichisaka walked to the edge and looked down. “Resourceful little wretch” he said looking down at Baka. He had stabbed his fathers sword into the wall he stopped his fall about six feet down. Suddenly Baka was pulled up by an unseen force, though his sword was still in the wall. Getting up off the ground Baka ran over to Kenji who was now recovering from Ichisaka’s mysterious attacks. “Now to finish it!” he said pulling out a large metallic weapon. With a pull of its trigger a larger beam of light shot from its end hitting between the two friends, throwing them apart. “Western guns!” Baka cried running over to his friend. He applied herbs and bandages to his friend’s wounds.
The sound of the gun awakened the clan master. “What is going on here?!” Questioned the clan leader. “This does not concern you” replied Baka. “It is in my clan area, It concerns me!” “These two have been trying to assassinate me. Though they failed miserable” Laughed the Ogre. “I am sorry but I can not let this continue. I know its self defense Ichisaka but I cant have you causing trouble!” With that he took Ichi’s powers and weapons and kicked all three of them out.
It was not far to The Burning Dawn so they made it there thinking they where safe. Then Ichisaka arrived. He could no longer use his guns or powers as he they had been taken by the clan master. “No more cheap stuff now!” said Baka as he challenged Ichisaka to a duel.
[This battle is not in the memory of Bakaken.]
“I win so leave.” Baka said wiping blood from his lip. “You have to kill me first.” replied the bloody and torn Ichi. “Your strong Baka, but you are a fool for following such a corrupt Shogunate.” “I would never follow you traitor! You who have turned away can come back! Return while you can!” With this Kenji entered the conversation after recover from his wounds. “No Baka. One who has seen hell and the devil himself can not return to the light.” “Kenji speaks the truth. I could never return. Here Bakaken take my head to that this one’s life may end and start again.” And with this Bakaken took the life of Ichisaka in hopes he would change. He was lied to.
To Be Continued
[The next Day]
Bakaken awoke in his bed. A sharp whistle was coming from the east tower. Coming to his senses he realized it was a raid. “Crud! I’m too late!” He cursed himself and grabbed his sword, still stained with blood. Jumping out his window he darted down the rode. The battlefield was in the market square. He grabbed His katana and slashed through a raider. They were weak and he was just about to kill a second when he heard a voice over his shoulder. “Baka! Get to the balcony! You should not be in this fight! Your in big trouble this time!” It was Sosuke’s voice. Baka looked up to him so he hurried to the balcony.
There he met a girl, Her name was Ujichika. “What’s going on?” Baka asked. “Why aren’t we fighting?” “You know Kunren aren’t allowed on the battle field.” she replied with a slight giggle. “But I can fight! I killed a raider on my way out of my house! I killed Ichi-”He was cut off. “Now Now” said a familiar voice from behind. “You don’t actually think I would let an Imp like you end an Ogre like me?” Ichisaka laughed. “Better an Imp than an Ogre.” Baka replied his hand moving to his sword. “How are you here? I have your head in my room!” “As Kenji said, I know the devil. And I made a deal with him. Power for my soul!” With that Baka ran and vertically stabbed through Ichisaka’s heart. Ichi grabbed the sword by its blade and pulled it deeper. He then pulled it up and it cut through his shoulder. “Hehehe…”He laughed. Baka watched in horror as the bones and muscles and veins reached out to the others and pulled together. He flexed his shoulder with an evil chuckle. “I wont die to an Imp!” His arms reached out at the terrified boy as he reached for his neck. As Baka dodged the Ogre grabbed his arm and hit him in the face several times. His strength was incredible. “Now die.” He said hurling the motionless body of the boy down from the balcony and to the ground. “Nooooooo!” was the last thing he heard.

Comments
I really like "Baka watched in horror as the bones and muscles and veins reached out to the others and pulled together." in the last sentence. I like the word horror.
